The Koenig family has been making wine since 1704 and has been a member of the VDP since 1989. Our current owner and winemaker is oenologist Robert Koenig Jr., whose passion and expertise stem back to his childhood, when he was introduced to the art of wine making by his grandfather, Josef Koenig. Robert Jr. earned a degree in oenology at the Geisenheim Research Center in 1991.
